An evening of wine, music and food, organised by my family at the Terrace of Residency Towers on the 7th July was truly a soulful experience. The climate and the ambience with the soft lights created a divine atmosphere for our guests. Service by the Residency Staff was exemplary. The old Tamil songs played by the flutist were amply complimented by the Chef Ajeet's gourmet delights - starting with the morninga soup which was served with utmost creativity and ending with customary curd rice served with a twist! The epicurean journey took us through what seemed like a never ending variety of dishes made with locally procured ingredients - millets, veggies - all from local farmers! And kalakkis spun out of free range eggs too! It was most gratifying to see our guests leave with a feeling of an evening well spent.
Thank you and looking forward to more such experience on the Terrace!
I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks for a truly outstanding job that you and Ajeeth did during the dinner for the conference hosted by the kovai Medical Center on 22.09.2018. This is the first time I was visiting the roof top and ambience was truly beautiful. I thought you had the perfect blend of lightening and lot of cosy sofas placed all around the place to make it extremely comfortable and at the same time maintaining privacy for groups of people sitting together.
I also thought the lighting of the place was perfect-not too bright to be irritating or so dim so that we could not see the food. I do not want to comment much on the standard main course because I am sure the food of most of the places taste equally good. But what I found truly spectacular was your several live counters which dispensed truly outstanding quality food which was not found in conventional buffets. Your pork chops and sauce were succulent. The variety of sushi was good and pleasant change from the tradiontional fair. But what truly was the most popular dish at night was your tumbler idlily and prawn and mango curry, again, the dishes that are not easy to find in a restaurant.
Before I forget I also want to mention about the delightful starters that were being passed around, little wafer like biscuits and another with olives. I know there were lot of other dishes, but these are some which truly set this dinner apart from the others we have been to.
Let me once again say a big thank you to both, you and and Ajeeth Janardhana for this extraordinary evening.
